- Contacts or Files: The App does not read your contacts, SMS, call logs, or local files.

Civix does not provide medical or health advice. The content in this App is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not offer medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or health tips. In any medical emergency, always call the national emergency number (999 in Bangladesh) or consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The App provides step-by-step emergency procedure references (what to do in situations such as a road accident, fire, snake bite, etc.) and informs users about the national emergency helpline. These are reference guides only, not professional emergency services. The App itself does not provide emergency response, dispatch services, or real-time assistance.
How the App Works
Civix is a fully offline application. All content — including emergency guides, legal information, first aid instructions, and emergency contact numbers — is bundled within the App and stored locally on your device. No internet connection is required to use any feature.
Local Storage
The App uses local storage on your device solely to improve your experience:
- Favorites: When you bookmark a guide, that preference is saved locally on your device so you can quickly access it later.
- Recently Viewed: The App remembers which guides you have read to provide easy access. This data stays on your device.
- Settings Preferences: Your language preference (Bangla/English) and theme selection (light/dark) are stored locally.
All locally stored data can be cleared at any time from the App's Settings screen or by clearing the App data from your device's system settings. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.
No Account Required
Civix does not require you to create an account, sign up, or log in. You can use every feature of the App immediately after installation without providing any information.
Third-Party Services
Civix does not integrate with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or external SDKs that collect user data. The App does not display any advertisements. The only third-party code included is necessary Flutter framework dependencies, which operate entirely on your device without transmitting data externally.
Emergency Calls
If you choose to use the emergency calling feature (e.g., dial 999), the App will open your device's default phone dialer with the emergency number pre-filled. The actual call is handled entirely by your device's operating system and cellular service. The App does not record, monitor, or store any information about calls you make.
Data Security
Civix does not collect or transmit personal data. Any local preferences stored on your device (such as theme selection or language choice) are protected by your device's existing security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Children's Privacy
Civix is designed for general audiences and does not target children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no data, children can use it with the same privacy protections as all other users.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since the App operates offline, we recommend reviewing this policy periodically within the App or on our website.
Your Rights
