This Privacy Policy describes how Boss Baby: Smart Baby Companion (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles your information. We take your privacy seriously, which is why Boss Baby is built with a 100% offline, zero-data-collection architecture.

1. Information We Collect

Boss Baby does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. All data you enter — including your baby’s name, date of birth, weight, sleep logs, feeding records, and diaper logs — is stored exclusively on your own device using a private local database.

We do not collect or access:

• Names, email addresses, or any account credentials
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
• Location data
• Camera or microphone input
• Contacts, calendar, or files on your device
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data

2. How We Use Your Information

All data you input is used solely to power the features of the App on your device. Specifically:

• Sleep, feed, and diaper logs are stored locally to display your baby’s daily timeline, history charts, and wellness insights.
• Your baby’s date of birth is used locally to determine age-appropriate wake window guidance.
• Notification preferences are saved locally to your device so the App respects your settings across restarts.

None of this information ever leaves your device. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no third-party analytics pipelines.

3. Internet Access & Permissions

Boss Baby does not request internet permission. The App is designed to work entirely in airplane mode from day one, with no network calls of any kind. The only device permissions the App may request are:

• Notifications — to send optional local wake-window reminders. This permission is requested only if you turn on notifications in Settings, and all alerts are generated locally on your device.

No other permissions (camera, microphone, location, storage, contacts, etc.) are used or requested.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with any third parties. The CSV export feature — which lets you share logs with your pediatrician — is initiated entirely by you through your device’s native share sheet. We have no access to the files you choose to share.

5. Third-Party Services

Boss Baby does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or social login. There are no embedded trackers of any kind. The App uses the following open-source Flutter packages strictly for on-device functionality:

• Isar Community — local database (no network calls)
• flutter_local_notifications — local push notifications
• just_audio — on-device audio playback for sleep sounds
• google_fonts — fonts are bundled locally; runtime fetching is disabled
• share_plus — native share sheet for CSV export

None of these libraries are configured to collect or transmit data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Boss Baby is a tool for parents and caregivers and is not directed at children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Boss Baby collects no data whatsoever, it is inherently compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

7. Data Security

Your data is stored in a private, sandboxed local database on your device, protected by your device’s own security mechanisms (PIN, biometrics, encryption). Since no data is transmitted to any server, the risk of a remote data breach is zero by design. To permanently delete all your data, use the Reset All Data option in Settings.

8. Data Retention

All data is retained exclusively on your device for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data. You can also manually clear all data at any time via Settings → Reset All Data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Medical Disclaimer

Boss Baby is designed for informational purposes and tracking daily routines. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider for any concerns about your baby’s health or sleep.
